Welcome to Calistoga Springs Research Institute!

The Institute is an arena for people, companies, governments and universities to Co-Design Innovations.

Many perspectives and stakeholders can, will and should be brought in the process of innovation and design. The ability to do so we call Co-Design and is the heart and soul of Calistoga Springs Research Institute. Over the years we have developed an approach to do this, called Ideal Oriented Co-Design. It is a framework for innovation, design, and change.'

City Move Interdesign

Lars Albinsson, together with 40 people from 18 nations, participated in the 2009 City Mover Interdesign in Gellivare. The focus of the Interdesign was to explore design thinking in response to the challengens that face cities that needs to move. In northern Sweden, Gellivare and Kiruna needs to move because of the expansion of mines. In other parts of the world cities need to move for instance because of rising sea levels. More on the Interdesign can be found at SVID. The ideas and outcome of the group Lars was a member of can be found here, as a pdf of large panels. The exhibition with all the groups' ideas will travel across the world during 2009.
